Good for
How it works
- Plan the hairline
Your donor area is assessed and the new hairline is drawn with you.
- Extract follicles
Taken one by one (FUE) or as a thin strip (FUT), under local anaesthetic.
- Implant
Placed at the right angle and density. DHI uses an implanter pen for precise placement.
Good to know
FUE, FUT or DHI?
FUE leaves tiny dot scars and suits most people. FUT can move more grafts in one session but leaves a fine linear scar. DHI places follicles directly with a pen for close control of angle and density. Dr. Babar will advise which suits your hair.
Before your appointment
- Stop smoking at least a week before.
- Tell us about blood thinners and other medicines.
- Eat breakfast and wear a button-up top.
Aftercare
- Sleep with your head raised for the first few nights.
- Wash only as shown on your aftercare sheet.
- No gym, swimming or caps for about 2 weeks.
- Shedding of transplanted hair at 2 to 6 weeks is normal; new growth follows.
Will it look natural?
That's the aim of the planning step: follicles are placed to match your natural direction and density, and the hairline is designed for your age and face.
