Good for
How it works
- Assess and map
Dr. Babar checks your skin and marks the areas to lift.
- Ultrasound passes
Focused energy heats the deep SMAS layer while the surface stays intact.
- New collagen
The heated tissue tightens and rebuilds collagen over the following weeks.
Good to know
How is HIFU different from a facelift?
A surgical facelift tightens the SMAS layer through incisions. HIFU reaches the same layer with ultrasound, so there are no cuts and no recovery time. The lift is subtler, which suits mild to moderate sagging.
Does it hurt?
You may feel brief, warm, prickling pulses over bony areas. Numbing cream helps, and most people find it very manageable.
Aftercare
- Use sunscreen every day.
- Avoid saunas and very hot showers for 24 hours.
- Mild tenderness along the jaw can last a few days.
